Abstract
In spring 1977, 3985 smolts of sea trout from the Rega River were released into Redentiner Bach, some 300 m from its outflow into the Wismar Bay. During 2 years there were 0.9% returns, originating mainly from the Mecklemburg Bucht. Single fish reached Skagerrak and ICES subdivision 24 and 25. In autumn of the first year the fish attained 51.4 cm and 1841 g on the average, and in the second year 63.5 cm and 2125 g.
