Abstract
Basing on the data collected in 1965 -1970 and 1980 -1985 a characteristic is given of the growth rate of bream and roach in five Konin lakes differing as to the thermal regime. More rapid growth of the fish was observed in the period when the whole lake complex had been included into the power plant cooling system. Most pronounced increase of the growth rate was noted in the lakes heated for the shortest time. Growth of roach accelerated more than of bream.
