Long-term changes in commercial fish catches and bream and roach biomass in heated Konin lakes

Abstract

Species composition of commercial catches did not change much in the period 1951 - 1992, but there was a change of catch levels. Biomass of bream and roach decreased permanently in some lakes of the complex. Predatory fishes pikeperch and pike lost their economic importance in all lakes of the complex.
